Andrea and Mike Visit, June 2011
Hello All,
We had a wonderful visit with Andrea and Mike. We enjoyed a dinner at the house when Mike and Andrea first got here. We had a pork dinner and lots of lively discussion. Jaimee Joy told us the main course was the best chicken she ever ate. She asked Grandma to make it next time. Andrea and Mike then went up to Logan. Andrea returned later and stayed with us after Mike flew back to Rochester. We went to Farmington Bay Bird Refuge and Red Butte Gardens. Nate and Beth kindly invited us to their house for a barbeque. Afterwards we played Taboo.
Spencer asked me how old I was. When I told him 59 he told me I was going to die soon. I told him I hoped it wasn’t on my way home that night.

Zoo Trip, June 2011
Hi All,
We had a fun zoo trip with Brandon and Jaimee. Brandon was absolutely non-stop running everywhere. He also told us when he grows up he wants to be a Dad and a Super-Hero (that about covers it). Jaimee told us that Ostrichs are "man-eaters" and they "kill with their beaks". So watch out for those ostriches!!
According to Brandon, the large round objects are actual porcupine eggs in the cage...

Wall Street and The Zoo, May 2011
Hi All,
We took Spencer and Preston to the zoo this week. Besides the regular exhibits the zoo had a special dinosaur exhibit. The boys were a riot. Spencer told us he wants to work on Wall Street. When we asked why he said so that he could make a lot of money to buy toys.
I also watched the kids on Saturday morning and got a cute shot of Lauryn.

New Member New Job, April 2011
The bigs news at Chris and Lisa's is that Matthew is a new member of the Church and Chris got an offer at SUU! How exciting is that....
We had a lovely trip to Texas. Friday night Sandy and I arrived, talked with everyone then went back to our motel. The next day was Matthew’s baptism. I felt the baptism was a spiritual thing for the whole family. After the baptism we went back to Chris and Lisa's and ate homemade donuts. That evening we shot model rockets from a field across the street. I slept out in the backyard with the kids that night and we had fun.
Monday we painted the kitchen, living room, hallway, bathroom and bedrooms. Sandy planted in the front yard and watched the kids. I also went to Matthew and Alyssa’s school to eat lunch with Matthew. By the way Ema is becoming quite the little chatterbox.
