ANNUAL BACKPACKING TRIP--Aug 2014

We had a wonderful backpacking trip this week.  We went to Miller Lake in the Wind Rivers (we were originally going to the Green Lakes River area but it was raining so hard we went to another place that the weather indicated was less rainy).  Wednesday night we drove up to Pinedale and decided to stay in a motel because of rain.  We hiked in on Thursday.  Everybody caught fish, we had good meals and enjoyed laughing and joking.  We hiked out on Friday afternoon because it was raining and hailing quite hard.  We ate at Pizza Hut on the way back.

ANNOUNCEMENT and Visit to the New House in Twin Falls, July 2014

Andrea and Mike are having another girl!  We went to Idaho and Andrea had her ultra sound while we were there.  We enjoyed seeing the three of them.  Nicole is a delightfully pleasant and happy child.  She had a real thing for her grandmother this time.  She would go to her even when her parents were around.  We helped them unpack and other things.  We also played Pinochle (I want it known we beat Andrea and Mike, they "stunk up the place" with their play) and Settlers. 

 

Davis County Fair Aug 2014

We had a lovely get together two weeks ago.  Mike and Andrea came down here for a visit.  Andrea, Nicole, Sandy and Kaelynn did some girl activities while Mike and I played a round of golf at Lakeview.  We had a barbeque at Brian and Mindi’s condo.  It was a lot of fun swimming together and eating.  We had a great time throwing Sarah Grace into the swimming pool with all her swim equipment.

I enjoyed going to the Davis County Fair with Jaimee, Brandon and Sarah Grace.  They had a pony ride, we petted bunnies, and we saw chickens and elephants.
