Spencer Baptism, City Creek Ride; September 2012

Spencer got baptized on Saturdy!  The baptism and confirmation was a spiritual experience.  Spencer gave us all a thumbs up while he was up on the stand with Beth prior to his baptism.  Chris and Lisa and family, Brian and Mindi and family and Matt and Kaelynn were there to see the glorious event.  After the baptism we went to Nate and Beth’s house for a great lunch.

We took a fun bike ride up City Creek Canyon.  Here are some pictures of the event:

Fun Events, September 2012

We had some great events this past week starting with a birthday dinner for Mindi this week.  It was fun to have her and the kids over.  We had crowns for them to wear.

We had a fun weekend.  We started off by taking a bike ride up Provo Canyon.  It was a beautiful day and the ride was relaxing.

We then went to a wedding reception of a daughter of a close friend from New Jersey—Jennifer Lund.  We saw my good friend, Tim Lund and other great people from New Jersey.  It’s amazing how old I’m getting when I see my friends children getting married.

After the reception we drove to Cedar City.  We saw Matthew’s soccer game, played with the kids in the park, bottled fruit and ate some delicious homemade pizza and breadsticks from Chris.  That night we saw “Les Miserables” at the Shakespeare festival.  It was wonderful.  The best musical I have ever seen.

We went to church the next day and drove home.  We stopped in to see Conrad and then Kaelynn/Matt.  They are doing great.

Kaelynn Wedding Aug 2012

Kaelynn is now married!  The whole wedding day turned out well.  Kaelynn got her hair done early in the morning by Andrea the beautician.

The wedding breakfast/lunch was next.  Nice comments were said about the bride and groom, but Greg Larson said he sat at the fun table where Chris, Lisa, Nate, Beth, Andrea, Mike, Brian, Mindi were laughing and having a gay old time.

Grandpa Dick married them and the Temple Ceremony was memorable.  Afterwards there were pictures at the Temple.

The reception was held at Sean and Jana’s reception center.  They kindly allowed us to use the center for their cost only.  It was a lovely affair.
