San Anotonio Dec2010

Hi All,

We had a great trip to San Antonio with Chris and Lisa and their gang. We took a boat ride down the river walk, we went to Sea World and to a wild animal safari like thingy. Everybody had a wonderful time. The only bad thing is that my camera got stolen or lost, so we'll have to rely on Lisa's pictures of the event which I will post later. Here are some memorable events: Matthew said that his Dad has gas that, "stinks up the whole house". During evening bedtime stories Alyssa told me that can't get anybody to play with her during recess. I asked Matthew what Alyssa should do and Matthew gave a lot of good suggestions like telling Alyssa to ask people to play a specific game or play in a particular area. The first thing Alyssa did when coming into her bedroom at the vacation rental was to "decorate" it. She got some flower leays and wrapped them around the headboards as "decorations".

Christmas 2010

We had a lovely Christmas. Christmas Eve, Bert and Betty, Dean and Connie and Jared and Jason came over. We had pulled Pork and other goodies. That evening Kaelynn played the guitar and we sang some Christmas Carols.

Christmas morning we read the “Living Christ” and enjoyed a relaxed morning. That afternoon we had Dick and Joy, Nate and Beth, Spencer, Preston, and Brian and Mindi, Jaimee, Brandon over for dinner. We had prime rib and salmon which was delicious (Beth's butter was superb.....)

Home Dentistry Dec 2010

You've heard of home schooling, home delivery and other homey things haven't you? Well, I'll bet you've never heard of home dentistry. Yes folks, Jaimee Joy and her assistant, Barak, are performing home dentistry. I have included pictures of the "dentists chair", dental "tools", and several victims (oops, patients). By the way, those tools you see were actually used to remove several of my cavities.

For Thanksgiving, we had my parents over as well as Nate and Brian and their families. It was a wonderful dinner. Afterwards, people slept and we played Uno and Hangman with the kids. Here are some pictures of the main characters at the Thanksgiving feast:

Jaimee and Brandon's Birthday Party, November 2010

Hi All,

Jaimee and Brandon's birthday party was a smash hit. As you can see the cakes were great; Jaimee delighted everyone with a dance and Brandon lined up all his presents in a row. It was fun to see everybody at the party.

Zoo Trip with Brandon and Jaimee, Nov 2010

Hi Folks,

We took Jaimee and Brandon to the zoo this week. We learned from Jaimee that the reason some animals can live in the desert is because of "Friction". That is where they get water. So now you now. Here are some pictures:

Kaelynn's Mission Return, September 8, 2010

Kaelynn returned home! She looks great, she had a wonderful experience and is ready to move on. We had a lovely dinner with many family members that night. Also, Andrea and Chris called her. Thanks to everyone for making it a great day. First day back started well--we started the day with a three mile run and then scripture study.
