Trip to Canada May 2009
We first stayed at Banff National Forest where we camped at Tunnel MountainCampground. While in Banff we went up on a Gondola ride (on the top of the mountain we saw mountain goats), hiked in Johnson Canyon, sat in the hot pools and went to the Whyte Museum in Banff.

After Banff, we went to Jasper national park going through the Columbia Icefields and Maligne Canyon along the way. We took a ride in a big snow thingy that takes you out on the icefields. In Jasper we stayed in a cabin, we saw bears, caribou and elk. We also ate at a Greek restaurant. Frozen Lake--Bow Lake Us at Bow Lake Maligne Canyon

Texas Trip May 2009
I went to Texas to visit Chris and Lisa/Mike and Andrea. Sandy had been in Texas during the previous week helping Chris and Lisa. Fast Sunday Chris blessed Conner afterwards we went to Chris and Lisa’s house for delicious eggplant parmesan made by Chris. We had fun playing with the kids and talking. Afterwards we went with Andrea and Mike down to Galveston. That night we played Settlers, which Andrea won. The next day Mike and I played tennis and we went to Andrea’s class and observed her teaching. We took them out to dinner at Landry’s. The following day we flew home.
